The local newspaper Vallecas Va! has written an article about the international Erasmus +  project "New Skills, new schools"  in which our school, CEIP Francisco Fatou, is part of it and our first transnational meeting in Latina last October. This is the link to the digital newspaper CLICK HERE

FINNISH MULTIDISCIPLINARY LEARNING MODULE                         SUOMI 100 - HAAPAJ�RVI 40 The new core curriculum for basic education that was implemented in schools contains some changes that might have given rise to the misunderstanding of abolishing separate school subjects. In order to meet the challenges of the future, the focus is on transversal (generic) competences and work across school subjects. Collaborative classroom practices, where students can work with several teachers simultaneously during periods of phenomenon-based project studies are emphasized. The pupils should participate each year in at least one such Multidisciplinary learning module. These modules are designed and implemented locally. After having wonderful days in La Latina (Italy), it's time to go back to work with plenty of ideas to share with our students and the students from the other countries from the project, too. And here it is, our first written activity with our friends from Greece! The girls and boys from 4th, 5th and 6th level are going to exchange letters.
